Erika wanted a passport invitation with a bold starfish theme for her wedding in Virgin Gorda, BVI.

I adore her color combination of the medium blue metallic and light green!

Just a teaser today, more photos to come!

Nysha wanted a traditional-format invitation with passport design touches, and loved the modern swirly vine artwork. With her fresh lime and aqua colors, the result is fun, elegant, and lets guests know they are in for a treat of a destination!

Nysha also had several fun Extras which will be posted soon, stay tuned!

Francine’s passport invitations are one of  my favorites for a few reasons – though many have inquired about it, she was the first to use the gold foil stamp on the front covers! Combined with the cool blue and green color scheme, they’re airy and tropical, fitting for their wedding on Boracay Island in the Philippines.

While I haven’t had a moment to photograph her invitations myself ,  Francine sent me a link to their videographer’s blog with their video – one of the best I have seen, I just love it! (I promise it has nothing to do with her invitations being the lead-in!)

In addition to the passports, I created programs, place cards and table numbers to coordinate the wedding. I’ll post photos soon, but in the mean time, you simply MUST see the beautiful video that was created for this special couple by Mayad Studios.

Finally on my way to my first National Stationery Show! I hope to bring back lots of great ideas for all your wedding and party paper needs, find some new products to share and get some inspiration along the way.

It will be my first time seeing the non-historical parts of NYC too, going to hit up all the fun spots this time (well…all that can be seen in one afternoon and one evening while not at the show).

When I get back, I’ll post any new products and invitation innovations that CPW will be offering after the show.

Kristin contacted me at the referral of Liz, who’s invitations and seating chart I created last fall. Kristin’s flowers are purple &  lavender tulips and calla lilies. I put them together with leafy swirl accents and matched the font that she used on her DIY programs for a cohesive look at the wedding.

Carrie contacted me because she LOVED Kim’s Damask Invitations. Of course Carrie’s design would be unique to her, and with so many variations on a damask pattern, it’s easy to make sure everyone’s is unique. Carrie wanted to incorporate a bit more of a floral element but not TOO much floral, and this damask is the perfect balance.

I love the narrow pocket she chose, and although smaller than other pocket fold styles, still holds A LOT of information.

A leaf from the damask artwork is pulled out as a design element on the enclosure cards so the artwork doesn’t take over the cards but still tie into the main design.

Carrie’s Extras will be finished soon, I can’t wait to show them off!

Last fall, I created Carolyn’s save the dates that announced the Florida location of her destination wedding. Continuing with the tropical beach theme, the invitations feature five different pieces of sea shell and starfish artwork … keeping it fun and themed and elegant all at the same time.

Janine’s invitations are all about fun. From the hot pink and yellow colors, to the polka-dot bow – even the wording inside the invitation tells guests they’ll have a blast at the wedding!
