Aarti had spent many hours shopping for the shower invitations she had in mind: clean and simple, not fussy or frilly, and elegant, incorporating her wedding colors of bright pink, bright orange and gold.
We discussed color combinations and picked the pink and gold with a simple monogram. Pink metallic envelopes completed the invitation, which served as inspiration for her place cards and dontation cards at her wedding a few months later. This 4×9 double-layered panel invitation could easily be used as a wedding invitation.

I met Aarti later in her wedding planning. Her invitations had already been ordered, so I wasn’t able to design the actual wedding invitation for her. But I recently received some new pocket invitation samples and immediately thought of her colors and design when I saw that one was a perfect match to the gold metallic paper we used on the rest of her pieces. I thought this would be a good opportunity to show off the new Window Pocket Invitation by tying it into an existing matched set.
So here it is, the first Custom Paper Works Window Pocket sample, as it might have been used for her wedding invitation. The front window shows off their monogram, and opens to a band printed with short wedding quotes. Once the final panel is open, the main invitation panel and pocket contents are revealed.
